Kinesiology is a holistic treatment form where we begin with the connection between body, thoughts, emotions and the nervous system.
The basic idea in kinesiology is that the body can respond to strain, stress and imbalances - including things we may not be consciously aware of.
In a kinesiology session, muscle testing is used as one tool for exploring the body's response. It does not mean that the muscles have to be strong or weak. The muscle test is used as a form of biofeedback, where I work with the body's reaction to different influences.
Call to bookHow does a session work?
We always begin with a conversation about what you arrive with and what you would like help with.
This may be stress, restlessness, emotional strain, recurring patterns or a wish for greater balance and calm within yourself.
After that, I work with muscle testing and different kinesiology techniques. Along the way, we explore the body's reactions and work with the areas that show themselves as relevant for you.
A session may include work with:
The treatment is always adapted individually. That is why two sessions are rarely exactly alike.
- Stress and emotional strain
- Thought patterns and old reaction patterns
- Physical tension and restlessness
- Energetic balance
- Breathing and relaxation
- Different kinesiology balancing techniques
The body remembers more than we think
Sometimes the mind knows that we need to move on - but the body still reacts as if the old situation is present.
That is one of the things I find so interesting about kinesiology.
Instead of only asking: “What do you think about it?” we also work with the question: “How does your body react to it?”
This can offer another way into understanding the patterns and strain we carry with us.
You do not need any prior experience
You do not need experience with kinesiology, and you do not need to know exactly what lies behind what you are experiencing.
You come as you are.
My task is to create a safe space where we can be curious together about what your body is reacting to and work toward greater calm, balance and contact with yourself.
Kinesiology does not replace medical examination, diagnosis or treatment. If you are ill or have persistent physical or psychological symptoms, you should always seek relevant healthcare support.
